Headlamp adjustment?
Discussion
I am very new to wedge owner ship so still finding my feet a little but allready so pleased with my decision to buy one (and my wife for allowing me to).
Thanks to the people who helped with my strange switch problem especially Ian, it was part of the Clifford alarm that did not work, it does now though so I can relax a bit now knowing its alarmed up at night.
Anyway next job on my list, O/S headlamp sits fine when they are switched off but when switched on it sits about lower than the other one.
When I swith the lights off it goes up about an inch before it goes down so the lights dont go down together, is this easily adjusted? anybody else had this problem?
Thanks in advance
Dave
P.S a pic of the car.

Stunning car m8 ,not normally a fan of aftermarket wheels but those look the business.
Ive also had numerous headlight pod problems and im sure someone more knowledgeable will chime in with the definitive answer.
I would firstly raise pods remove both motor fuses, switch off lights, remove healamp unit 3 screws (dont undo the adjusters ! )
get a torch in there and clean all contacts on the connectors for the motor unit and lube the linkages on the unit and the pivot points for the pod.
Try that before adjusting anything.

Thanks Stu, Its how I got it to be honest and credit to the last owner.
I'm a big fan of wheels with a good dish and these do suit the Wedge, I would prefer the wheels in a 17" if I'm honest, I think 18s are a bit to big for the car, but it drives nice looks the biz and I'm really happy with it and thats all that matters really.

Sounds like the arm connected to the drive from the motor may be wrongly positioned on the drive as the motor appears to be completing its full 360 degrees but the pod is stopping in the wrong place. You will probably find that you will have to adjust the stop position once you have sorted that out!
I am from Hayling and last count there was 3 wedges on the island, one owned by a guy who cant see too well and one owned by a guy with a heart condition!

The arm is bolted to the end of the motor shaft, no key, no nothing just friction so when it works lose the headlight starts to trail on the up but gravity helps on the way down. This will get worse and eventually the light will not lift at all just the motor noise for company on a dark night. The little turn knob on the motor does nothing at this point even after much struggling as the motor is no longer attached to the pod. Well that what happened to me anyway. Easy fix remove headlight from pod (after raising I disconnected the connector under the front wing so it didn't lower) reach in through hole and find arm raise pod to correct position and tighten nut.
