Hoping to get the brakes sorted in time for the next BBWF what a mess by the time i got home and the DIFF not much better Ah well never mind all part of being a wedger i supposes, Sniff Sniff.

If it's the back brakes/handbrake mech, there was a guy in Norton (round the back of the garage with all the flash cars) who specialised in classic Jags.

He sorted mine for me just after I bought my first Tiv (280).

Old school type, who knew his stuff. Probably knows the diffs too. smile

When I had my rear brakes done Mike at Horizon Motorsport got all new calipers and pistons for not a lot. Recall they may come off an Austin Princess

I'd give him a call and see what he can do

Rear brakes are Jag, Front 4 pots (400SE etc) are Austin Princess.

Cheers lads i'v give it to a place called cartech to sort out, He had a ferrari 355 and 2 porche turbo "s" out the front so if people trust him with them cars he must know what hes doing. Fingers crossed its not too much though

Rear Brake Discs are Ferodo FDB159 Jag XJS

Break pads rear Ferodo FDB815 Jag XJS

Handbreak pads Ferodo FDB822 Jag XJS.

You may want to look at the callipers aswell Dix, Seals and pistons.
