AA man did get it running, reversed the polarity on the fuel pump to shock it into life. We stayed until Jim and Jenny were on their way just before 5:00 pm
First job on the car when he gets back will be to replace the fuel pump.

Same AA guy that attended mine 2 hours before!!

Glad about that , hope he did the jubilee clips back up I loosened to see if fuel was flowing yikes

Bet AA man was a happy man at having to fix 2 TVR's in one day smile

Was yours the light coloured Wedge in the Round of Gras? Saw the AA van and a brief glimpse of a Wedge as we flew past.

Thanks for the update Colonel good to hear he got her running again. And glad to know that ALL Tivs appear to have made it home under their own steam - even if a few required en route assistance.

That was the one; we were only about a mile or so away from the fleece – If we had got that far then the wedding guests would have been slopping around in Mobil 1!!

Good news indeed. There were a few requiring some intervention though in my case it was purely down to lack of preventative maintenance.
