Had my car mot`d last friday it passed biggrin
Tester bloke said centre box leaking a bit-not suprising at its patched up to hell and it often "grounds out" on even the most innocent looking speed bump.
Is this grounding out a "they all do that" thing or is my suspension on the way out?
can you get the centre section in normal mild steel or do you have to get a fancy pants stainless jobbie made?
many thanks stu

They all do that.

The flying sparks help check the fuel tank isn't leaking;)

If it only grounds on speed humps, you're not trying hard enough smash

Mine decks out on uneven or steeply crowned roads when pressing on. That's why I stick to a mild steel box - easier for me to patch up. The brackets can give up under the strain as well, but easily fixed.

find a powerflow stockist. stainless these days almost as cheap as mild steel.
My 400se was done 10 years ago, and has grounded out on bumps, humps, dead hedgehogs ... its scraped to hell, its dented but its not rusted. I paid £300 for a full front to back system and, given the abuse its recieved .. was well worth the cash

My box is scuffed to buggery as well. Went for the non sports stainless as a long commute renders you deaf. I SAID DEAF.... EH?..... HALF PAST TUESDAY.

That's what mine is, and TBH I don't think it's much (if any) louder than a standard factory box, which is fine with me.
