Mine does that when I stick low profiles on the front.

Has the suspension been rebushed, as I seem to remember my old 350 also did that once rebushed, but it also had 17's on it that probably didn't help

My early 280 FHC (non PAS) did that...even after total suspension replacement, though not as bad as before.

My 390SE didn't, and current 400SE doesn't.

Maybe steering geometry or tyre make ?

Wishbone bushes ?

Hi

Simple answer is no the power steering doesn't creat this.
Check condition of front tie bar bushes, worn ones allow the lower wishbones to move around.
What profile tyres - 206x60x15 (standard for 350)use 22psi pressure
If adjustable shocks, don't set them too hard - there seems to be a balance setting them harder is great on fast tarmac but gives described condition on some surfaces.

Sh drop links seem to work really well, bringing the ARB into action earlier but allowing the shocks to be backed off 1 or 2 notches.

Otherwise have the alignment checked.

I had a similar effect in my 280i when I got it and found one of the tyres was under pressure.

Strange thing is I still get some "bounce" if the pressures are 100% correct, if I increase them by 2psi or so the bounce seems to go away.
