Brake Hoses....
Discussion
I've fitted braided hoses in the usual place going to the T Piece but I have seen pictures with a braided hose fitted directly to the caliper. Has anyone on here done the same thing and if so, what type of hose was used as the goodrich type will end up being twisted as they don't swivel. The alternative is to use the existing the copper piping which is prone to the odd leak or two....

I have seen a few with the hose directly into the caliper. As you describe the hose twists a little and therefore is trying to unscrew itself. Not best engineering practice but seems to work. I used copper to a bracket on the hub and then braided.

Just been on to the Speedflow web page - they can make up a braided hose going direct to the caliper. I'm sending my old copper ones for the front calipers and they will do the rest. It will need a female adapter which will screw into the T Piece which swivels with the Male connector going into the caliper...

Unless before engaging the threads you twist them an equal number of turns the opposite way. Front or rear? At the front mine has a 'banjo' type connector with braided directly to this and no twisting. Must add it is not the standard setup but hispec 4-pot arrangement.
If it is not to the point, then please forget this...
At the rear: I have a few standard flexible hoses in a box and intend to use one of those to replace the one at the rear if necessary.
