Accelerator cable and pedal
Discussion
I think I may have spotted a slight design flaw (ahem!) If I ever manage to catch the top of the accelerator pedal with my shoe (and I do occasionally - I'm not the most light-footed of people), a little metal tubular clip pings off into the footwell, and the throttle cable comes off the top of the accelerator pedal. The clip appears to be the main thing stopping the cable falling off. Has anyone any ideas how I can keep the clip in place without gluing it on?

Not sure what it looks like and fits together but how about lock wire?
That might be an idea too. It depends how much grip the wire will have on the metal clip. I'll try the gaffer tape first, and see how it goes (coz I know I've got some of that in the back of the car!)
Cheers.
