Still putting the finishing touches to my coolant system revamp. I have removed the plenum heater, blanked the holes etc but was wondering whether to blank off the pipe from the inlet manifold that originally went to the plenum or "T" it into the header tank hose? I would prefer to blank it if this isn't going to cause a problem.

Thanks

I blanked mine and reduced the pipes to the expansion tank from 3 to 2.
Run like that for 2yrs without problems.

I T'd mine off, on the 400 SE.

I did have problem, but was not related to this. and it all seems fine now.

On the race car. I have blanked off every thing. and that runs fine.

Not got any heater feed / Return. or the header tank feed / Return

I have got a 1 Expansion tank feed from swirl pot from the water pump to the Radiator

maybe tempted to remove the the extra header hoses, and just have the 1, will look a lot tidier
