Hi All,

For a while now ive had a squeak comign from the steering which is really loud! Its worse when the car warms up.

I've managed to find where it is coming from when i was doing the manufolds, its the tops of the suspension. Ive taken the rubber caps off, loosene, greased and refitted which is fine for a short while and then it comes back!

Can you get new tops? Hopefully it will stop me going mad and looking silly1!!

Don't quite understand what you mean by top of suspension and rubber cap?
Do you mean the swivel on upper wishbone or are you in the shock/spring area ?

One of the areas of mysterious squeks is the ARB bushes - had this when I went silicon, the ARB swivels and moves sideways when you are turning and made some interesting noises. Standard rubber mounting bushes has eliminated problem

The other common noise with power steering is the pump / belt.
