Just flicked through this months mag-mot a mention of the mighty wedge meet-up.
Last months edition was also devoid of any news (guessed it was a bit early to place the feature)
but nothing in this months !
Is it because it was not a TVRCC event or are we truly the marques "black sheep" ?

Yes - perhaps it is because it is a non-TVRCC organised event; independently organised. But I can't really see the TVRCC snubbing it.

I notice that they are using a pic of a Wedge in their recent advertising for new members in the Classic press.

Somebody has to write it, provide pics, edit it and then submit it. Anybody done that yet??. In years gone by Gandalf, Howard, myself and a few others have done write ups.

I personally would rather see a good article on the TVRwedgepages on the meeting, but again somebody has to write the words - which is time consuming.

I should imagine that if somebody decided to scribble a page or so and save it as a word file and send it to Gandalf with some pics, that could easily be fashioned into an article.

Any takers??

I don't need to see it in Sprint to give it the kudos it deserves - Especially as its free on the Wedgepages and I ain't a member of the TVRCC...

Could it even be due to press deadlines that a report isn't in Sprint? As MikeB says, someone has to write it; then there is typesetting / page make-up depending on how TVRCC go about it, final layout and proof-reading, then printing and sending it out by a particular deadline. Sometimes events just don't fit into the scheme of things.
