I want to 'firm up' the suspension of my 280. It's fitted with AVO adjustables and what I assume are standard springs. Problem being it's still a bit 'wobbly'. I believe Eibach do a set of springs but where can I get them and how much are they??

wobbly?

how you mean that?

before i would do anything to ride and height of a suspension, its necessary to check all suspension bushes and replace them.

your car is still sitting on the original bushes or bushes from unknown age you have to sort-out this at 1st, afterwards you can play around with your dampers and other springs.

that sounds better...but what you mean with wobbly?

how does it feel to drive the car? when do you feel it? on which roads you feel it?

after plybusing..did you do a complete setup (camber, castor, track) ?

I've not had the geometry checked on the car as I have no problem with any twitchy-ness when cornering and I am happy that it goes where I steer it. The issue I have is that when trying increase exit speed from a corner the car transfers its weight very (too) quickly to the outside pushing the car wide and limiting progress. It's loads of fun as it is I just know it could go faster!

I'd be careful about lowering it. One of the advantages my car seems to have is it doesn't bottom out on country lanes and can get over most speed humps without me having to get out first.
