That's deffo a K+N filter.
You are in luck, Mr Adamski, because those filters are designed to be washed and re-used.
To wash them out, what I do is to put some neat petrol on it and rinse off most of the crud, then stick some neat washing-up liquid on, and bung it in a bucket of water and rinse it around. (Actually I use the washing machine but only when the other half isn't looking ;^)
Finally you're supposed to put some expensive K+N oil on it to trap the next batch of dust, but I find that a good spraying with WD40 does the trick.

No, deffo factory fit. The bonnet crushes it out of shape but as AQ says you can reuse it if you can get it to sit properly in the holder - no point otherwise as it'll be letting air past without filtering it.Gassing Station | Wedges | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
