Gents,
I am starting to overhaul the fron suspension on my 280i - can you advise the best place to get an anti roll bar bush kit - is this special to TVR or from a Cortina / Granada. Also what is the shock absorber from and where best to source this.
Cheers
Ian

Looking at the front ARB on mine from the engine compt I can't see any bushes. The bar just goes through what appear to be 2 large metal blocks with no obvious clearance. Are there internal bushes or is this why my fillings have dropped out?

My arb goes around the back - I think later cars went around the front of the steering rack so may be different - I definately have rubber bushes in my set up.

Yes, the early cars had them round the back, later ones round the front. smile

If you post a pic, I can probably tell you whether Cortina or not.

Have you thought about installing Steve Heath ARB links and coil over suspention kit, they are easy to fit and set up, worth a look at.
Cheers

Not quite ready to upgrade to coilovers and the drop links yet. Steve Heath did help me out loads (great service) with some new bushes though, so all sorted for now except for the shocks - may re fit the old ones for the time being and change at a later date - they are working OK but have seen some action and I would like something a little better than the Monroes that are fitted at the moment.
Does anyone have any experience of the ones that TVR Car parts sell - are they a good unit to fit.
