What is it about Wedges ?

Today I'm 'hurrying' along a decent country road, and yet AGAIN a car pulls in to the side virtually to a stop, to let me by !

Don't you just love em. hehe

Did you notice how quickly the window was probably coming down as you drove by, so that they could get the full sound experience biggrin

You should come down to Essex mate! Oncoming traffic tends to drive with at least 6 ft clear to their nearside, and they don't realise that they have room to move over. But that may be due to some of the roads crumbling away at the verge - but no; most people drive down the middle of the road around here.

What I like is when you overtake some people on country roads after dropping it into second say, they suddenly move over as the full aural experience hits them!

Just come to Essex to experience daft drivers and horrendous roads! It can be downright dangerous.

Ah, but that's exactly why I'm happy up here.
Superb driving roads with little traffic, no cams, and wolds dales and moors all within 30 mins. smile

Even got mains gas and electric now. hehe

Gas and electricity?

Whats all this then, we still have a coal fired telly and oil burning Betamax video.

The roads around the dales are just pure driving bliss as far as i am concerned.

I find people are far more curteous when I'm driving my Wedge than in other cars I've driven in the past couple of years. Makes overtaking, pulling out and getting through traffic much easier and more fun!
I don't know whether it is because people appreciate a real classic or because they're scared by the noise. In fact I'm not bothered why, as long as they carry on doing it! hehe

ETA I don't get any pulls from BiB either!?

Doesn't work for me - most numpties on the motorways just don't see you coming, even the ultra loud exhaust doesn't seem to scare them out of the way. 8^(
