My drivers window is badly out of adjustment/ alignment , to the extent that with he window fully up the door not shut with the the roof on .

The door shuts easliy , and is well aligned , and the window operates well and smoothly ,at the forward edge the angle of glass and door frame matches and there are no gaps .

Have checked the bible , without success . Does any one know if the SEACs have different windows than the other wedges ? Have already discovered during my recent screen change , that it had the wrong one fitted then , and am suspicious .

Any suggestions appreciated

I'm sure all wedges have the same windows / mechanisms, I would have thought its just a case of adjustments to the position of the motor assembly, have never done this, but hopefully somebody here will have more experience.

Bike brake cable needs adjusting? Limits the travel up. Clamp on the cable behind the door trim.

Forgive me for being stupid, but where's the 'maintenance section of this site' - I can't see one listed

I would suspect he means 'ere:

www.bress.freeserve.co.uk/wedge/maint_doors.html

You can read PH (Wedge) forums through that site too, which could explain the confusion.......

Had the same problem with the rear of the drivers (NS) window hitting the roof. This is on an 83 Tasmin, so it would seem a common problem. Tried a few things to rectify it including shorting the cable but this just seemed to lower the height of the whole window so there was now a gap at the front edge. I also had a problem with the roof being bowed (high in the middle) I noticed if you push down on the middle of the roof then the outer edges lift. I corrected this but the window still hit the roof slightly so I resorted to taking off the edge of the roof. May not help you if you don't want to recover your roof. I am not sure there is an easy fix........
