Where do i find correct touch up paint?
Is it a case of identifying the correct code and having it made up?
I had a look in Halfords, but that was fairly pointless...rolleyes

Also, any companies you'd recommend for doing paintwork, particularly in the SE?

Go to a paintshop and give them the body code off the VIN plate. Thats the ICI Autocolour paint code.
They'll mix some for you, but may still want to see the fillerflap or something, as even within a single colour, you can end up with a small range of shades, so they will take the code, then refine the match by laying swatches on the sample to get the EXACT shade right.

HTH.

P.S. Youre right - Halfrauds will be a waste of time!

P.P.S I use PaintShop Products - theyre in Youngs industrial Estate, near Aldermaston, just opposite AWE. They are a professional shop and are really good.

Actually halfrauds can be OK doing this - your mileage may vary according to the experience of person on the counter. I usually get it made up as an aerosol, then when I need touch-up, I spray some into the cap and use a brush.
