Part no. ?

Anyone out there got the part no. for a fuel pump off an 87, 350i. Still making a high pitched buzz after about 50 miles, so time to play safe and replace it before i come home on the RAC truck!

Well, I blatantly pinched this info off someone elses website but it says:

Bosch : 0580464014

Failing that, one of equivalent spec will do I would think?! It better, my new one should arrive t'moz and it ain't a Bosch one

Dave, isn't yours a 2.8????? Are the fuel pumps the same as a 3.5????

You would be correct, mine is a 2.8, but the info/part number I posted was was for a 3.5

Not sure if they are the same, I got mine based on recommendation from those in the know at Burton Power and figures from the lovely members of PH
