Hi Steve, just perusing the SEAC pages and noticed your engine bay is different to mine?
Excuse if i'm being dumb but what is the thing where the alternator usually goes, AC pump?
Also, is the oil filer just off camera, or has it been moved?

My engine bay... excuse small image!

Really are some lovely cars on there. yes

Looks like a similar layout to my A/C equipped 390se. The oil filter is located infont of the water pump, mounted below the front fibreglass crossmember, and is an absolute b-stard to get to.

Wayne , apologies for not replying sooner , not been near computer lately , yes most of the ' junk' has been removed now , so she's lighter , alternator still on ' wrong side ' at present , had a nice run out to the w. mid meet on Sun , autumn leafs floating into the car as I was driving along , the suspension on her is brilliant ie very stiff , so no body roll , only the tyres can slide ! Looking forward to a meet up soon .

Forgot to mention the oil filter , its on a remote sandwich fitting just behind the rad , and correct way up so no messy oil changes !

Sounds like the best place for the AC then - in a bin. Better for the old power to weight an all that!

I have Avo adjustables on mine, so handles quite nicely-if a little firm.

Quite enjoying the new exhaust too. Certainly gets attention. biggrin

Yep, a meet up would be great. Both beasts together would make a great pic.
