Water Temperature sender

Hi guys

Anyone able to give me a part no for the Water Temperature sender/sensor for a 400SE?

My guage has never worked properly since I got the car a year ago
I think it had a wrong sensor that under read and never moved any hotter than cold.

My mechanic has since had 2 different ones which were wrong and had 2 terminals
before getting what seemed like a correct one
But this one showed too hot too quickly and went straight into the red
even though the engine wasn't actually even up to running temp

Had a look in several places inc the Wedge Bible but can't find anything helpful

Any help gratefully received

Just call TVR Power - they are less than a tenner.

I got the top temp sensor for the EFI from them.

Try Rimmers....

The gauge and sender are matched,and different ones were used over the years,if you still have the old one(that worked) it has a plastic coloured top,that should be the same colour as the replacement,available at any motor factors.Tempus
