Searching here, there seems to be general agreement that the electrics for the rearview mirrors come from a SD1. Does it make any difference is its a early (79-84) or later (84 on)? Thanks Grady

You might want to have a look at some early Sierras - I think thay are the same as my mirrors (early style)

Mine is an 86 350 mk2. they are not sd1. mine have 4 wire not 3, and all the writing on them is in italian.
Have been looking for replacements for a while. Peninsular told me they are no longer available. If anyone knows different let me know. It is the only items on my car that do not work properly.

Grady,
Which side?
I have a RHS in my box. I'm not sure if it works.
If you happen to know where I should put 12v to test it.
It has four wires Black white blue brown.
It's the one that fixes to the door assume that's the one you need.
I need the RHS mirror that fixes to the small triangular panel just above the door, I assume it to be the same as on the yellow Wedge on rear cover of S.H.Bible
