A few bits to remove
Discussion
Well over the next few months intend to actually do some work to the Wedge after nothing over the last 2 or so years as all time and money spent on house
So today intend to remove
RHS rear suspension, drive shaft, wheel bearings
Bonnet - to respray
RHS exhaust manifold - to weld in O2 sensor
Crank pulley - to attach trigger wheel to
Boot and boot spoiler - to respray
Front anti-roll bar
Steering / bulkhead bearing
Might start with the easy ones's first
But can anyone tell me if the rear hub nuts do up anti clockwise or clockwise and on which sides, as I seem to recall they are different on each side, but can't remember which way round it is
Also anyone know any part numbers / suppliers for the following
Rear wheel bearings
Front wheele bearings
poly or normal bushes for rear sus / front anti-roll bar
And yes all this is being done outside on a gravel parking spot with the car up against a hedge on the passenger side, so have to do drivers side, then turn car around and start again on passenger side

The rear nuts are normal right hand thread on both sides.
Front and rear bearings are Ganada Mk2 but you need an extra grease seal for the rear.
available from bearing factors or RT Racing
Poly bushes direct from Superflex or Spub - you will probably also need a bolt kit for the rear suspension which is also avail. from Spub (I think he does a combined bush and bolt kit at a very good price)

(They can come undone!!)
Well so much for starting with the easy bits !!
Went straight for the rear suspension instead. Drivers side is now off bar 1 bolt holding the frame to the chassis, nut is undone but bolt wont shift. Gonna have to remove the brake caliper and disk to offer it some persuasion
Looks loke its all been of before as all nuts were relativly easy to undo as covered in gopper grease.
Although can't actually split the drive shaft from the hub carrier, so need a vice and another hammer me thinks
Top shock mount was a pain, as took the nut off but would not release the shock. After half hour or so found another nut holding it on
Now need to decide what goodies to buy
SH suspension units
SH rear stay bars ?
replace uj's
wheel bearings
but not sure about bushes as all seem fairly firm so may have been done previously ?

Hi Paul
Sounds like you have a lot of work on your hands, i found the best way to access the top bolts for the rear shock was to make some access holes in the boot making it easy to remove.
If you speek to SteveH about the ujs he can source them and the suspention it top notch and the rear stay bars too.
Im on with a few winter upgrades my self.
Good luck and keep us posted

RHS exhaust manifold - to weld in O2 sensor
(
Paul - I can weld that in for you (free) unless your brother has welding equip.(
Personally - I did the LH manifold as there is more room to mount the sensor vertically at the bottom of the collector. I can post a picture if it helps.
I also have some spare 6 hole pulley spacers... fitted mine on the rear of the crank socket. Can post pictures if needed.

Was only going to do the rhs as that's the side I can get to at the moment, will have a look at space next weekend hopefully, as still struggling with rear suspension removal
