I have a 1980 Tasmin coupe with sagging doors. Could anyone guide me through replacing the bushings.

TVR Carparts sell the hinge bush. You need two each side Search under http://www.tvrcarparts.com/pages/default.asp

and hard trim - bush in the search option

Before you buy anything - try some adjustments first. My doors sagged and what I did was to jack up the far edge of the door placig a block of under the door first before tightening the top hinge bolt which did the trick.

Sagging doors can also be a symptom of shot outriggers - so I would check those too if you haven't so already.

Thank you all for your replies. Each has been most helpful, and I think I have a good idea now of what may be involved in getting the doors back in order. The outriggers should be fine, they've been replaced recently.

You may have sorted this and I don't know if your doors are different to mine (89 350i), but I have had some minor sag issues in the past and it has been sorted really very simply. There is a chuffing big tube like hinge on mine and somewhere near the middle is a nipple - if the door feels like it is starting to sag a bit my grease monkey chappy whacks a grease gun on said nipple and gives it large. This has always un-sagged the door.

Of course, I may be talking bollards as well!!!
