Hi,
Can someone help identify this part. its on the front of the airbox on my 2.8i tasmin. is has two hoses going into it from the radiator and one wire and it at the front of the engine at the top. i am guessing its some form of warming device, sadly i managed to snap off one of the water pipes so need to replace.

Thanks in advance.

Any chance you can send me (PM) a photo of the part? Perhaps I could be of help.

Bracket ? Or the whole thing?

It is just bolted directly on the front isn't it.

These do get gummed up. To clean it properly it needs to come off, only a few minutes work. Heat it up and check the the little moon shaped bit inside is closing off the hole. Should be open when cold.
If it doesn't re-clean it.

In theory these op by heat and by 'lectricity, I would guess half of them including mine just op by heatsmile

Just to make sure there is no confusion. The WUR does have a bracket.
It is a heat shield, only fitted on USA 280s I beleive.
That is left front the AAD is right front.
