350i headlight pod motor

There's not much in them that you CAN refurbish! Strip down, polish the commutator, make sure the gear is free to rotate in its bushings and check the electrical bits. An hour, tops.
There's a Powerpoint presentation of a stripdown somewhere on the web that'll show you how little there is to them.
ETA £70 is daylight robbery.

Hi,
The link to the presentation on how to strip them is below. It's very useful. I did mine a while back and it turned out to be broken brush assemblies making them intrmittent. I bought new ones from these guys: http://www.s-v-c.co.uk/prod_wipers.html

That is great information…
I have two good motors that spin just fine when I hook them up to direct power. But when I plug in all 5 wires in the pod I get nothing. I have power at the pods when wires are individually tested. Electrical is not my strong point, so I am lost…
What are the 5 wires? What does each do? Any help.
