Have any of you fitted later model TVR wheels to your wedge.

Wheel and tyre sizes plus pic's would be appreciated.

I am considering a change from scuffed 15" split rims.

Thanks.

As far as I understand, Cerbera/Tuscan etc. wheels will fit, but the PDC is slightly different, which means that nuts don't seat properly in the recesses and are at constant risk of becoming loose.

Which is a shame because the 16" Cerbera 'Saturn' wheels do suit the Wedge and I have just seen a set of four go on e-bay for £16!

Someone on here has done it, but I am unsure if the wheels were re drilled to match the Wedge stud pattern.

other option would be to fit new hub's to take the new style wheels. you can fit new style callipers then also.

I had 17" Azev alloys on my 1st 400. Looked ok, but tbh i prefer the original Oz's.

I have fitted 17inch borbets on my 400se (had them on my 350i as well before I changed it for a 400), but favorite would be 16inch OZ's

I like.

Have you modded the wheels to suit the stud pattern?

I am very keen to change my wheels for these smile

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Dave, do you have a pic of the 17" OZ's on the 400?

Was the stud pattern and wheel offset correct?

Wheel width and tyre sizes please.

How is handling?

Same questions for the Cerb wheels Allan.

I do like the idea of getting a one-piece rim rather than splits.

Anyone running Enkie's?

Once again thanks.

Phil

I want to upgrade mine to 16". What's the ride like with lower tyres? Bit hard, or is the difference that noticeable?

Rides fine with the 16" wheels as the tyres aren't too low. Just wish I could drive it at the mo, but it's in bits just now awaiting a new cam etc. Those d@m chocolat cams!!!!!!!!censored

Another PH'er Alan, sent me a image of Jeff Statham's yellow racer with Image wheels this together with another shot of the same car I found on one of the Wedge sites:

I'll be contacting him to find out sizes.

Look nice.

Mine (being a v6) started off with 14" rims, on 15" at the moment so for me to go to 16" I'll be down to 50 series tyres. Got to decide what kind of wheels I want first, that will probably keep me busy for the next year looking at everyone elses!

Hope you get that cam fixed in time for spring!

Dave,

Sizes, with or without tyres?

I'm looking for 17's with wider that stock SEAC tyres.
