Looked at this hotel before -- Thistle Haydock Hotel. Just been on the phone to them, at the moment they have 60/70 rooms available on the 24/25th July, large car park. B&B rates are £70/room [TVR club]. If this is going to be a contender i would need someone else to finish off all the nitty gritty bit's that go's with running the weekend. If interested Tony or who ever else is in that area to check it out, would need to phone Sarah on 01942 292 004. PS - i know these are different dates !!! check site - www.thistle.com/hotels/northern-england
Your comments would be nice, thank you jonny...

THIS COULD BE A SUGESTION AS THE POLL IS POINTING TO FINDING A NEW VENUE AND I DONT THINK MANY WOULD COME TO ANYTHING LOCAL TO ME.

Nowt wrong with Scotland! Buchannan Arms Hotel in Drymen would make a fantastic venue, fabulous scenery and great roads, a bit far for the Southern contingent though, but who knows......maybe something for another venture/event at some point.

Carob has come up with a great venue that has good potential so lets see how it pans out.
