Can any of you guys or gals throw some light on what to use as a top finish after fibreglass has been filled and sanded,i was thinking i should use a gelcoat with an activator or ive seen pva suggested to seal the gelcoat from the air. Or should i use primer filler followed by light sanding then under coats with top coat finish? Im happy to experiment as its only repairs in the engine bay,cheers,John

Don't know if its still available, but you used to be able to get 'barrier coat' (spl?) helps prevent any problems with paint reacting or bleed through.
