No, I know what a diode is, what I need to know is what the specification of the diodes fitted for the headlamp pod operation.

Anyone help with a spec? Or even (better) a part number (RS Components/Maplin/TVR/etc?

I guess any reasonable 12v diode would do, but it's nice to be sure.

Any silicon rectifier from 1N4001 upwards should do it! If in doubt, go for a higher current rating (1N4007, 1N5401).

Well, I can't send it through Histonpeads, so you'll have to email me via my profile so I get your email address to send it to...

You want to have a fairly hefty unit so that you get some thick wires so that fitting the Lucar connector is easy. Shring wrap the bare wire to stop any shorts and I painted one end and the fuse box so that I knew which way they should go in the fuse box. See piccies in bible.
