Hi,

I've been about here annoying you with stupid questions for a couple of weeks. There's load more stupid questions to come but I thought I'd let you see what I've just bought. 1982 Tasmin 200 FHC. It's a bit of a mongrel as it has a carby 2.8 V6 in it, but hey it was cheap! Does anyone else on here have a 200 FHC?

Looks tidy, mine is a Heinz 57 special too but come to think of it.....all Wedges straight from the factory had bits from most manufactures parts bins on them, thats what helps keep the spares cheap.
Good luck and happy Wedging

Welcome to Wedgedom....looks fine. smile

That's interesting though...has later style single petrol flap and painted door handles, but on a series 1. Maybe that's just on the 200 ? scratchchin

Here's my (previously owned) 280 Series one for comparison...twin tanks on these, so matching filler on the other side:

Also different sills:

Nice car mate thumbup Mine is a bit of a mongrel as well (although it started life as a 2.8)............. With a 2.9 V6 its evolved into this, and goes like st off a shovel. Almost the same colour as yours wink

Good luck Roy with your new wedge, and yes you will get a lot of people looking at you because there's very little of them in Scotland.
ps -- go up to Callender area and see what i'm talking about.

Cheer's everyone. There's loads of work to do to it but I bought it as a project car so I'm not worried. A rolling restoration as it's MOT'ed etc.

Dunno about getting looks in Callender but 10 min's after I bought it I couldn't get out of the garage for people talking to me!

It's strange how hardly two TVR's are the same. All part of the attraction for me. Mind you I'd never seen a FHC in the flesh until I bought mine!

So about these meet's, are they organised by PH or the TVRCC? Are most people in the TVR car club?
