Does anyone happen to have the wedge bolt pattern to hand as I'm looking at some wheels?

Thanks.

They are 112mm PCD, 5 Stud as per Ford Granada. Can't remember the centre bore size though.

Mine have an offset of 23mm. Be careful that the set you're looking at doesn't foul on the chassis or bodywork.

Yes, it was that pcd figure I was looking at, thanks.

Graham,

I thought there were plenty of the 15's around and that the 16" OZ's were the sought after ones?

I'm in two minds re split rims as it's a pain to keep them looking like new. I like to use my cars and tend not to devote Sundays to cleaning them! However, as has been pointing out getting the offset right, especially with wide rubber can be tricky chasing aftermarket cast or billet wheels.

Several of you guys are running 8.5" & 9" wide rims so they must fit.

Hi Phil.

A spare set would be great for trackdays, or to fit while current ones being re-furbed...but must be 'straight' of course, even if rough looking.

Yes, 16s are rare and sought after. cloud9

I believe 8.5s were standard on SEACs anyway. scratchchin
Others will advise on that I'm sure.

My last tiv (390SE) was fitted with 15 x 8.5s under normal (series2/400SE) arches with no probs, but I think you're planning bigger and wider.

It has been done on SEACs, so I'll leave it for those guys to advise. smile

Enjoy the car....white is the new 'in' colour anyway biggrin

The 400SE and SEAC's don't have big problems running the wider wheel, but the 280, and 350 have problem with the wheel fitting in the arches. Ideally even on a SE you don't want to go wider than 235.

The SEAC has 8.5 * 15 as standard.. but the Tuscan race wheel is 9 * 16 and is OK on the front but needs a spacer plate on the rear as it's very close to the suspension anti tramp bar (about 5mm I think).

I thought some SEAC's had 16" wheel as an option (Not the racer wheels.)

Also if you use the new Steve Heath Tie bar's, you don't need the spacer.

I think perhaps only Stainless's old silver seac had those tattice type 16's. Don't think any had 16 inch OZ's as std..

On the SEACs that got 16s from the factory were proberly not the 9" 9.5" wheels that went onto the tuscan racer...hoo sexy carrrrr
And im not sure the wheel width but i gess the tyre will be a 225 or a 235, if you run 245 there is not a lot of room at the back for the tie bar, you should be able to get a finger between the wheel and bar, you have to think about suspention droop as the bar gets very close.
Ive got the SH tie bars and you can fit them in so you can clame a little more space bot you can run a 5mm spacer with no problems as im running them all round on tuscan (ohh sexy car...) wheels all round, it helps the wheels fill the arches and also nocks the speedo out...oopsss

Yes the SEAC 16" options was lattice.
Also I think 235/45/16 should give the same rolling radius as 225/50/15

Leigh,

If for any reason you don't have them, I will.

Don't need the tyres, just the wheels.

They look good.

Well all ready have 2 so be handy to have at at least 2 more so I can have inty's and slicks.

also the Racers had narrow arches, so currenly the tuscan 9J 16's don't fit.

If I every get the time I'm going to cut the rear away and re-make with wider arches and make a rear defuser.
