Good question regarding silly prices , know where to get them from but £100 at least , and that seems silly !

ACT supply sets, individual hoses and stn stl pipes, all seem high quality.
Google 'silicon hoses' there are lots of suppliers.
Try www.carbuildersolutions.co.uk they seem a decent outfit, very helpful and fast delivery

There are some low quality silicon hoses around, cheap - yes, but be careful.

You might be able to source some of the hoses, but there are 2 or 3 which are odd: elbows with different diameters each end for example, which I don't think are widely (at all) available. I was recently looking for some of these odd ones myself, and could find them at either DT or Rally Design. ACT's products are top quality, and you know they will fit. I personally wouldn't even bother looking elsewhere.

ACT are the only ones that do all the hoses that fit, including the fully two that goto the water pump. plus there kit's are very good value for money.

I did my Car before ACT did kits, and it cost 2 - 3 times price of the kit.

Only reason I did not but the kit for Racer, is because its got a lot of custom parts plus I had a lots of bit's left over from doing the 400SE. I have since bought the 2 water pump hoses from act.

I Can recommend ACT too. Very helpful and kit is good quality, I have the swan neck filler hose 'twixt Rad and Inlet Manifold and the hoses were fine,I think i had to trim a couple ,but have had no problems and thiought the cost was very reasonable...

As said I did mine before ACT did they kit's, inc stainless clips I've spent well over 500 on hose's. only ones I got from ACT was the 2 for the water pump.
