where do i get a throttle pot from, any ideas anyone?
Replacement less than £20 + homemade adaptor. Rotary deflection 105 deg versus 90. Max voltage full throttle 3.7. Enough to trigger full load enrichment providing nil mechanical impediment to 90 deg rotation. Radiospares/Electromail Tel 01536 204555 P/N 319-310 Rotary Position Sensor 5Kohm OR Check RR dealers for their units believed to supply own adaptor OR repair original, move internal contacts laterally 1/16".

Anyone who has tried to fit an emerald TPS will know this.
The Emerald does have an auto calibration though, so you can use any TPS you want.
In the end I fitted an uprated THOR 70mm throttle body to the rear of my plemum, and this took the new style of TPS with only minor mods.
All depends if you want to pay extra and have it just fit, or spend all weekend in the garage tinkering to be able to fit the £20 unit.

One problem I can see with the RS pot is that TVR/rover one has a male centre slotted control arm, where the RS one has a female control hole.
Ah, Sorry about that, but actually you sorta lost me with that description, never mind, an uneresolved problem is only a potential opportunity, so the tvr/rover item is different to the Rover item, presumably showing two females unable to mate, requiring an innovative modification. Would a short "D" profile floating stub shaft do the trick? Any ideas?Gassing Station | Wedges | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
