hi any info please my 350i starts good fast idles and settles down as it warms up then the revs come up again and runs at about 1500 revs any idea chaps thanks

Airleak, split pipe or..? Stepper motor?

A more knowledgable person than i will have the answer i'm sure.

Loads of info on this web site, even though it's about twin throttle plenums it's all the same sh@t.
Not sure if it's this article, but there's definitely an article on identifying air leaks around the plenum.

I located a big leak via the vacuum servo take off and a couple of smaller leaks via the throttle butterfly bypass hose (the hose's and pipe thing that goes to the extra air valve etc)

Idle speed is now 1000 rpm hot or cold, still needs the idle CO tweaking as it's a bit rough but at least it stopped idling at 1500 rpm, or 1200rpm or wherever else it felt like...

Brakes work better too as well.....
