All,

I'm after opinions here ...

I'm normally pretty much of the opinion that TVR's look
best with the original wheels on them ..

TVR seem to have a nack of choosing good originals .. so why change them !

But I've just had that opinion shattered.

Just open this month's sprint - and you will see Jeff Stratam's factory SEAC racer - with different wheels.

They appear to be them same as the Ultima wheels - which I already really liked...

What's you opioion of them or other alternate designs..

Not that I'm thinking of changing mine !

Those are probably the only ones I would change the original OZ's for on the 400 or the SEAC , but if you do decide to change Rev I'm sure arrangements could be made !!!

I agree that the original wheels are superb but there are some equally lovely wheels out there now. If I had a 400/SEAC I would certainly want a different set of wheels to allow different tyres for varying weather/track days etc. but I would hold on to the original set as well.

I have posted these this before but I still think these wheels are a great alternative to the originals.

AM that's a fantastic wheel but isn't it very similar to the original? I've thought that the five very thin spokes, sometimes with a flute down the middle of the groove, looks good; probably best as 16" all round.

Agreed...kind of. 5 broad spokes, square-ish rather than the current trend for rounded lines. Flute is a bit Max Powa for my taste... as are fake 'split-rim' bolt heads.

See page 28 of Oct Sprint & thus the AZEV's fitted to my SEAC. Opinion was divided on these previously but those that saw the car at Mania said it looked good in the flesh. These AZEV's are now fitted to the ASCARI road cars now. I have some 16" original style OZ's but when I fitted them I decided to revert back.
It's all opinion - I like them - but I do have the option of going back to original spec. (cake & eat it?

I would have to disagree, the OZ split rims make the car INMHO.

I also strongly disagree. The orignal split rims look fantastic imho. They also look great on the original Griff. I wouldn't change them personally.
