bought a pair of front shocks off of a TVR Specialist and have never been truly satisfied with them.
What didnt help was that after taking them off one weekend to check adjustment, i noticed that to get the same amount of damping on each, (tested by leaning on them hard) i ended up with one shock on 9 clicks and the other with 14! (no wonder the car felt a bit wobbly coming back from Le-mans earlier!)
They look very similar to photos of Gaz shocks i've seen.
Anyone got any knowledge of these? am thinking of returning them for a rebuild?

sounds like could do with matching as a pair then. send them for rebuild and it should cure that.
John Sumner runs them on his race tasmin, went from being midfield to third place with redline dampers and a fresh engine, so they can work very well indeed!!

Hi guys, fitted redlines to the rear last year. Not over impressed with them. When i got them, I set them both to mid point on clicks, but you could notice a difference in resistance. I ended up testing each one and had to set them with different clik settings to get the same rate.
