Discovered my heating problem was a knackered radiator, pressure test highlightd rotten internal cores!!. Been quoted stupid money to fix from TVR garage, can anybody point me in a less costly avenue, also on the way to the garage my speedo cable snapped, is this a simple fix?

Your local radiator re-con place will recore it with a 3 core range rover element for around 100 quid

Rt racing quoted 175 for Rad, or 200 for larger bore, plus fitting twin fans for a further 120, when my local TVR garage quoted 545+vat for standard replacement and fitting, using my existing rad to recon. some difference eh!!

Only problem is the journey to Sheffield, without her boiling over on the way. Oh well!
There is a rad and twin fans adverised in Sprint, apparantly from a B reg 350i, FHC. Will it be compatible with my 1989 350i?

Yep. How old is it though? You don't want to have to do the same job twice. Where are you in Cheshire?

Yes, I`m in the Cheshire area. I can only locate actual TVR dealerships around my area. I already spoke to Wedge Auto / RT racing about dropping my baby off tomorrow unless anybody knows anyone closer?
