350i vs 400SE

I love my 350, but there is a hankering for more. Guys out there with a 400se, whats the difference?

There is a red 1990, 44,000 miles, fully restored (or so it states) 400se for sale in autotrader, £7995 ono, pls advise, good deal or not?

We had a lot of heart ache when we did. Loved the 350. But wanted more. 400 fitted the bill. If its a sorted one then go for it. For some reason my browser won't show the autotrader one.
