IF THE CAR IS AS GOOD AS THEY SAY IN THE ADVERT IT LOOKS GREAT VALUE, IF I HADNT JUST BOUGHT MY FIRST WEDGE I WOULD BE INTRESTED IN HAVING A GOOD LOOK AT IT. THE BODY HAS HAD A LOT OF MONEY SPENT ON IT SO IT DEPENDS ON THE CHASSIS AND MECHANICALS BUT LOOKS A GOOD WAY OF GETTING INTO WEDGE OWNERSHIP

The Bosch bits can be a bit expensive if they need replacing.
(Fuel dist and WUR)
But with the correct treatment they are reliable and should start first click every time.
I hope I don't regret typing thatbiggrin

I see it's gone off Autotrader, but is this the same car (posted on TVRCC site as being in Carlisle auction 4/4/09 )?
1981, 69,000 miles 'TAZ' plate.
Supposedly ex-factory demonstrator. The fuel filler is certainly different, and one each side. scratchchin

Maybe different cars.

Pictures on Autotrader were not that great to start with, but it sounds like the same car and it had a diff reg plate as well, so could be Graham.

Our white 280 FHC (chassis 13) has a fuel filler either side.

Hi Paul smile

Yes, my old S1 FHC (chassis 10) also had the twin fillers....just didn't recall them being diamond shaped recesses, but having looked at this old pic, it appears they were....doh ! redface
