Got to take the drivers side manifold off, most of the way out but its stuck on the starter motor. Can't shift that as some wonker used allen bolts to fix it. Like there is room there for a poxi allen key. FFS....

Got me an allen key with a socket on the end should I have to cross that bridge. Halfords I think?

Not that I have done it but from a heads up from others here.

I fitted socket head bolts to mine as with an allen type socket you have more clearance generally.

I cut a allan key down with a grinder and stuck it into the appropriate socket job done as the SEAC user the allan bolts too, pain to take off but not any more.

Has your starter cable from the battery got any insulation left on it, mine seems to have got melted off by the radiated heat off the exhausts. Not sure how best fix it, guess it could stay bare.

Yup, my insulation was toast when i last changed my exhaust gaskets. I slipped on a piece of heat shrink and now thats toast as well.
