No not alcohol !!

Before I head of to LeMans and then Wedgefest and whilst I need to fit my new braided brake hoses thought I'd do a complete fluid change

So anyone have details on type and quantity for

Brake fluid
Gearbox oil
Rear diff oil + additive for lsd ?
Powersteering
Coolant
any I missed ?

One day I will go to the loft and find the Wedge Bible !

Are we sure that the diff and gearbox take the same amount as would have thought gearbox took more like 4 - 5 litres ?

AFAIK the gear box takes just under 2 ltr's so may be correct.

I thought these gearboxes were recomending something different, hand book states SS80 ?

Got the diff additive ordered so will be adding that to some EP90

Got my hoses and brake fluid and oil filter

Anyone know if any suppliers for a 72 deg thermo as SH Bible seems to say that is an option, and thinking of putting one in for France

I've put in 75-90 Fully synth gear oil in the Racer, at it feels good. did put EP90 fully syth in the 400SE but was very bad until it was warm, the 75-90 is lots better.

You should be able to get a lower stat from ebay.

I vote for SMX-S too. I think 2 bottles was enough, and it took only half the second one, so that sounds about right.

Hopefully put enough grease in there when I changed them and the rear bearings over winter smile

Aren't a lot of people using ATF in the gearbox due to its non-frothing qualities?
