In dutchieland we think the tamora(for us the Tammy) is the new wedge. Nobody understands that car.,but it is like the wedge a great machine . Someday I'll be back.

I think i agree with you... the fact it is convertible helps, but i always seem to prefer the slightly wackier 'left field' designs.

If i ever changed from the SEAC then a Tam may well be it.

I didn't really gel with the Chimaera i had before, bit boring to be honest.

A Tamora with an LS3 engine instead of the speed 6 would be nice ! Not to keen on those speed 6 engines !

Hey Corno, are you trying to sell it to your old wedgemates?

Or do you still have to sell it to yourself?

;-)

Hey Bode,

You know you have parted from the dark side and stepped out into the light. Hmmm.... come to think of it, it's a bit like having a coming out hehe

I have driven a Tamora and loved it.. a real animal.

Not so keen on the looks especially the rear end .. but it sure drives great.

Enjoy it !

Well thew Tamora that Crazy Dutchman Corno is on about was mine cry

I had a 350i wedge (which I then upgraded with a 4.5 engine)
Next was the 400se
Then came the Chim 500 Taraka
Then the Tamora
and now I have a Sagaris.

Now I have sampled a few of the TVRs, I can honestly say that the further up the ladder you go, the build quality improves the better the cars are to drive. HOWEVER, the most FUN I had was when I had the wedges. I think the comradary, tom foolery and general piss taking between wedge owners was second to none - and that's what makes wedge ownership so special and great privilage to be a part of. Sure, there are better TVRs out there but if you enjoy for the whole package (outings, fellow owners, etc), then I think the wedge will always be the wedge and nothing will replace it.

I'll be back someday when I have a garage big enough for 2 TVRs.
