What colour ?
Car is a light silvery gold with biscuit interior www.gahh.com/smp-v20-c06-b.htm

I agree with Henry Ford ... black - hides a multitude of sins and goes with any colour. Alternatively the collar and cuffs should match (IMHO) - Streaky

Dark brown with biscuit piping; Wiltons are the best. Sort your leaks out first and don't forget the dense foam padding stuck to the underneath. Attach with velcro for easy removal for drying out...

I did a 200 mile journey in the pouring rain, everything seemed to hold up well but there was some water in the drivers footwell only, any suggestions ?

Open the bonnet and seal the bulkhead with gunge where all of the working bits come through.
