Thought the Wedge community would like to see what I found a couple of years ago down on the Florida Keys.
The guy had an RV8 to swap over from the 2,8 but unfortunately it good flooded in a storm so end of project.

and something else he had.

Oh that is sad.. Doesn't look unrecoverable? I suppose it does depend how rotten the chassis is, especially after a flood.

Did you get a chance to look inside?

Poor little Tiv, blind too frown

Rubber bumpered MG Midget?

Panther Kallista?

As I say it was a couple of years ago.
It was a Sunday and I just talked to the owner through the fence.
He said he had it up for sale. I went back that way twice last year and didnt spot it so maybe someone is nursing it back to health.

He did tell me that its "eyes" where in his workshop with the new engine.
The flood was about half way up the wheels but was salt water.

What a shame. frown Body should be ok though.

The red thing isn't a Kallista...perhaps a V-dub based kit, being the States.

NEVER park cars long-term over bare ground, as all that rising damp will quickly take its toll. nono

I think the red thing with the tent is a Mercedes Gazelle Replica.

I think this is the same car. There was a prior thread that I can't find now. IIRC it was more seriously flooded in one of the hurricanes that hit the lower keys hard - if it's the same car Marshall had some info on it. Grady

Speaking of "far flung" - whatever happened to the yellow wedge that was being advertised in Puerto Rico(???) a couple of years ago?

Your right, I was a Hurricane tide that liberally "wetted" (I think I just made a word up ?) it with sea water.

Drill a few holes in the chassis and fill it up with oil - then weld up the holes again. If you catch it now you'll save it.

Sorry Adam but I did say a couple of years ago and the owner told me it had happened the year before.
