After 5 attempts at trying to get the right undamaged screen from a reputable well known TVR supplier Autoglass Stoke did a fantastic job of fitting a new windscreen for me today. They were very knowledgable on TVR,s and did a cracking job.after all the negative feedback Id heard from people on windscreen horror stories I was more than a little worried so its great to be able to say thanks and well done for a good job.

Glad you finally had some luck.... reassuring for the rest of the Wedge fraternity too. smile

Mine's had a 'bullet' hole in it for at least 3 years. Food for thought. scratchchin

Autoglass did mine a month ago too. Was a nightmare for them to backfill etc but the result was fantastic. Couple of days to source the glass and now perfecto.

I don't think the wedge windscreen is a difficult one, after all it is more or less a flat piece of glass that sits in a well defined frame.

Now - a Griff windscreen is another matter and my old Griff that a screen fitted 5 times in sucession and still was not right when I sold it .. the screen is curved and goes right to the edge of the frame with the rubber going around the corner and actually being compressed by the door.. so the doors have to be left open for about 12 hours while the glue dries..
