99,400 miles showing on the clock, so only 600 to go for the big one . (Yes, I know it's probably been clocked, but so what!) The question is, "Is there a standard form of celebration for such an event?" This doesn't happen very often so I want to make sure I get the formalities done correctly. Do I inform the queen, or do I go higher and let let TVR in Blackpool know? Do I raise a flag on the radio aerial, or do I just go for a blast and pint?

All information and especially details of past celebration methods gratefully received.

Well, I've got 7,000 to go, so you're way ahead of me. I imagine that a and a is more than in order ... but only in moderation.

When you've been three times around the clock like that Merc taxi in Cyprus (or wherever), then you can let your hair down a bit more .

I've come across this before - clocking TVR's forward in milage to make them seem more reliable than they really are !!
