Open your pic on your storage site (photobucket, etc ?)

Copy link for photo on that site; use 'direct' link, as they'll give you several choices.

Then:

on your post here type [pic]paste your link[/pic].

A lot easier than re-building a car. wink

HI Andy, Great job on getting No1 up and running. Seen your photos and was surprised to see its virtually identical to mine. My wedge is chassis N05, same colour etc. On the chassis plate it describes it as BMW blue !!. Have a couple of pics if you want to swap info etc. I am in the process of totally rebuilding the suspension etc.
Good luck in the next 10,000 miles ........................ UG

The thought did cross my mind. When I got it way back in the late 80's it had the Rover cast manifolds and early SD1 air filter that long tube with a paint tin on top! I upgraded the bodywork to accomodate the early S2 front air-dam though I coped off the horns. I still have the original in my loft along with the rear bumper. The car didn't have a rear valance so I put on an S2 rear bumper too before having it resprayed. I also got the first modded exhahust which came from Giles Cooper.

What I recall was that chassis and bodywork was solid and strong and with the cast manifolds the car sounded like rover SD1 and not like a TVR until I went tubilar with the manifolds.

Was a great car which I eventually sold in 1997 to fund a music magazine...I'm glad it's still around and in good hands.

Andrew

Thanks for the info!

I wondered who had the front changed to a series 2!
As you can see in the pic's I have had it modded back to the original, ref the air filter, you don't have any pics of it etc, I have attached were I have made it fit now. I believe it's correct but not certain!

You say you have the original bumper still! Would you part with it?

Thnaks
Andy.

Why change the front back to Series 1 and then leave the non-standard spoiler on the boot?

Wedg1e well spotted!

Yes it does have a spoiler on the boot! There are reason for this.
1. It came like this (See attached pic)
2. It was a factory supplied item and fitted by factory personel!
3. It looks OK!
4. Which is more important is the normail boot which I found to replace the original on the car, was still in the body shop till the end of last week. I will decide soon which I will use!
As I said it does look OK but the jury is still out on which to have!

OK Mr picky O! sorry Wedg1e
