Another Paint Code Help Question!

Hi All ,

I've been trying to figure out what colour my car is. Hmm let me re-phrase, I know it's blue but was trying to figure out the actual name!

The paint code under the bonnet is P422-1812. I did give the code to a chips away man, but he came back to me saying the code related to a brown colour?!

It's a job to tell from the link and the picture on your profile. Have a look at my profile and go to my garage section and it should have a picture of my 390SE. If it's the same colour as mine then it's Oceanic Blue.

Also of you go to http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... there is a list of the TVR paint codes

Hi Nigel,

Close but not the same colour. Matt-man's 400 is Oceanic Blue but is slightly lighter than mine.

Hmmm 1812B on the list is Crystal Blue. Not sure how the paint codes work, but that's the closest I have found to whats on the plate in the car P422 - 1812!

Oceanic Blue is best looking on shady overcast days imho - and then it looks awesome.
