As I write this I know that this is a silly question.

How do you switch on the front fogs on a 400se ? I never have seen mine on.

The console switch that lights up switches on the rears but not the fronts on my car. Is it supposed to ? If so, may have a wiring issue. Bulbs have been changed.

Is there a fuse for the front thats seperate from the back perhaps ?

Help would be appreciated

Thanks

Some are wired differently. Some are fog lights, some are driving lights.

Try your main-beam headlights and they might come on with main beam.

Thanks for that - I hadn't seen it. Not a bad price at £4k, but I already have 2 Lee (or rather L33) plates (see my profile pics) - 1 with my initials, one with my wifes. Both only cheepies, but I'll neber part with them.

Yeah I took the time to go through your gallery on profile and noticed the two before emailing you. I must admit I look occassionally at what numbers are available.

I have a plate which is my name on the daily driver but looking out for a decent TVR plate. C19 TVR is for sale but would be so much better as a B.
B19 TVR. Plus have a 1990 wedge I am restricted as to what I can put on there ( nothing after H Reg )

I have seen some good ones in pictures tho. WED9E for example.

It does make me laugh looking at some of the adverts that say, change this letter slightly fit two extra screws in black and it might look like JASON. Then still want the 4k. Inviting 3 points and a fine more like it.

The front fogs quite often fail because there is a connector for each light just behind the air dam that is quite exposed to crud off the road, and gets corroded. Try giving them a clean up.

On my 350 they only come on when you flash your headlights-rather than wait for your headlamps to pop up down.

Mine (fog) are controlled from a dash switch. I'd run a dedicated test power lead (right off the battery) and a known good ground and see if they work at all. Then start working your way back from there.

When I got my 400 mine didn't work at all and
when looked behind them found that 1 had the bulb missing
but worse the other one had no back on at all and wasn't wired up!!!

Got some spares from a cibie site
I have it bookmarked on my other computer so let me know if you want me to post it

They now work as driving lights on full beam
and useful for flashing without the light pods popping up
