Fun in the Sun!
Discussion
So, what did you get up to with your cars over the weekend then especially given the weather?
I really only had the Sunday but like an idiot and without giving it a great deal of thought we headed to the coast! along with 10,000 other like minded car drivers it appeared! A 40 mile journey that should have taken 50 mins took 2.5 hours! Despite this the car performed impeccably in the slow stop/start hot conditions. A great day was had non the less and the journey home started out as the outbound journey had been with only the last 25/28 miles or so actually being clear and I could open the car up and stretch her legs a little.
On twisting single carriageway roads I had fun despatching cars, horse boxes, caravans and commercial vehicles as I learnt more about the blistering acceleration capabilities of this awesome car.
By the time I got home I had ‘That’ grin again!
What a great day after all and what a great car!

A day later and no one has replied - I guess only you and me were out playing.
I went to the coast having just picked the car up from the body shop / garage.
It has now, in the last three months, had .... a full chassis and outrigger refurb, replacement UJs, new hood and targa made, new Toyos, paint touch ins, anti chip black paint on the arches re-done, new number plates, new rad, new fitted TVR mats, new windscreen, new stereo with iPod ( just about hear it over the exhaust ) and MOT'ed ..... phew ! Wallet empty but car good lol.
It was my intention to sell it but I can't bring myself to do it and with my insurance at £20 per month, there is no cheaper fun in the sun to be had.
I am on strict orders to curb the spending on it now, perfect at a time when my to do list is now empty.
As for the weekend, the car was fantastic, necks strained, I thought one guy in a Pug was gonna ask my car out on a date, he looked so attracted, nodding his approval and making the oooooooooooo face. lol love it !

Hi guys.
Sunday I joined up with a load of other tivvers and proceeded in spirited fashion (had to overtake the leading Tuscan as he was in my way
) to the opening day of a new TVR specialist in my area.
Free bacon butties and good TVR type chat, with run out later in the sunshine.
Monday went to my local dragracing track. Lots of wonderfully LOUD motors, and had a natter with a guy who regularly competes there in his Nitrous injected Chim 450, as well as another PHer who runs a 750bhp chevy engined Jago Jeep.
My last visit there:
