Does any one know what resin system was used on a 83-84 350i,thinking of touching up some stress cracks etc,
I assume they are polyester based.
Any advice as whats best to use?

It's just the ordinary fibreglass resin from Halfords, etc.. TVR bought theirs from Strand Glass.

I'd like to know what they used to stick the two halves of the body together with. I have a hunch it was some exotic glue from Araldite. Which reminds me I have to glue the rear trim down, as I had to remove it to fix the rear hatch cable.

Yep, polyester resin , joints would have been with same resin & glass.
